Minneapolis resident on "Man vs. Wild."

Every which way Here are a couple of options for folks on both sides of the political fence: "Running," an online-only series at the new website Rightnetwork.com, follows eight conservative candidates as they make their first stab at public office. The site, which has a public endorsement from Kelsey Grammer, will soon introduce more programming from the right. To balance things out, check out Vice President Joe Biden as he makes an appearance on "The Colbert Report" (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central).

Fan vs. Wild I'm sure Minneapolis resident Sean LaCoste is a decent guy, but I have to question his sanity since he's one of two viewers who joined fearless Bear Grylls in the Canadian wilderness for the season premiere of "Man vs. Wild" (8 p.m., Discovery). Among the adventures: a rope drop from a helicopter onto a mountain peak, rappelling down a granite rock face and navigating a waterfall.

Dog days Ted Griffin, who wrote the remake of "Ocean's Eleven," and Shawn Ryan, who created "The Shield," have teamed up for a new high-octane adventure called "Terriers" (9 p.m., FX), which stars Donal Logue and Michael Raymond-James as two unlicensed detectives who stumble into a scandal.
