The Time Is Now.

Lake Mille Lacs resorters are ready to pounce....finally!!

December 14, 2011 at 1:53PM

The time is NOW! Lake Mille Lacs advocates have never been in a better postion to end this ongoing mess involving fisheries management of walleyes.

"The issues would have to be related to conservation, public safety or public health, he said." (quote from Mn. DNR Fisheries regime)

If a hundred years of DNR policy to protect spawning walleyes in MN. is not enough "conservation" reasoning to bring court action against this Tribal gill-netting during the spawn, then what is?! Consistent DNR survey numbers from the past 10 plus years prove, beyond a shadow of the doubt, there is a "conservation" problem related to Tribal harvest.

Time to act and end the talk! I urge Lake MIlle Lacs resorters and advocates to open the door to ending this mess....NOW!

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
