The St. Francis school district has canceled a public forum set for tonight to discuss a space proposal.

The district called off the meeting after considering additional transportation costs involved in the proposal that would have moved eighth-grade students from St. Francis Middle School to St. Francis High School for the 2009-2010 school year. Under the proposal, all fifth-grade students from the district's three elementary schools also would have been moved to the middle school.
