'After the Birds Taught Me to Fly'

Saturday-Sunday: Call it tweet-tweet theater, with a bit of hiking and bird-watching thrown in. This original musical features actors costumed as indigenous feathered friends, and it all happens on three-quarters of a mile of nature trails. In the style that is PlaceBase Productions' forte, the audience moves from scene to scene to watch bald eagles, sparrows and more flap their wings and sing. (11 a.m. & 2 p.m. Sat.-Sun.; the Sunday afternoon show is fully accessible indoors. Bloomington Education and Visitor Center at Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, 3815 American Blvd. E., Bloomington. Tickets are free but limited; reserve at bookitbee.com/e/bgt5k.)
