Southwest Storm Shifts Eastward

A storm system will shift eastward through the Southwest today bringing dampweather to the region. Rain showers will extend from Nevada through Colorado.Snow will fall in the mountains, with several inches of snowfall possible inthe highest elevations.

Meanwhile, thunderstorms will rumble farther to the south in Arizona and NewMexico. The unsettled conditions will spark some thunderstorms in western Texaslater today.

Cool air will funnel into the areas on the back side of the storm.

Temperatures will be as much as 10 degrees cooler than normal in these areastoday.
