'Sandbox' plans open house

• The Extreme Sandbox, a new business where adults who played with Tonka toys as children can operate the real thing, plans an open house.

Extreme Sandbox, a new business near Hastings where customers get the chance to operate a bulldozer and other dirt-moving machinery, plans an open house.

When: 1-5 p.m., Saturday

Where: 1901 Glendale Road, Hastings.

What: Demonstrations of machinery, car crushing in the Destruction Zone, drawings for a chance to run the machines, raffles, kids' activities.
