Regina Marie Williams on some of her most notable stage roles:

Dinah Washington in "Dinah Was": It was really hard work but it was one of my favorites. I loved the music, the clothing, the script, the range of emotions. It was a big break in my career."

Suge in "The Color Purple": I could have done that role forever. Why did we have to close that?"

Mama in "Ruined": "I was proud of that work but I couldn't do it any longer than we did it. There was no getting around it, it hurt."

Mrs. Muller, twice, in "Doubt": "I did some remarkable work in that show. I was being open to possibilities and out pours this truth."
