Fudenberg has his sights this season set on making the Class 3A boys' golf state tournament field for the first time. The Section 3 tournament will be held at the same site as the state tournament, Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids. Here is a closer look at Fudenberg:

A: … really nervous, but was ready to take on the challenge.
Q: What is your most memorable moment as a high school golfer?
A: Right now it's shooting a 1-under-par 70 at our final Metro East Conference tournament at Tanners Brook Golf Course to be the medalist and take second place overall in the conference.
Q: If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be?
A: I would find a way to lengthen the season of spring sports because our winters are so long.
Q: Name one sport you wish you could play that you don't?
A: I wish I could bowl really well. It's really uncommon to be a great bowler.

A: "Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard."
