Hilda E. Bies

Bies Hilda E. Bies was born October 17, 1904 at Hendricks, MN, the daughter of Albert Claus and Ada (Swenson) Wallen. She died on December 18, 2002 at the Colonial Springs Nursing Home in Buffalo, Missouri at the age of 98 years, 2 months, and 1 day. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Bies; a brother, Joel Wallen; and 3 sisters, Ruth Wynn, Violet Boyd, and Esther Marsh. Mrs. Bies is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Beverly and Oral Sallee of Buffalo, MO; one sister, Naomi Johnson of Minneapolis; a sister-ink-law, Lorine Wallen; and niece, Marian Peterson; and a nephew, Jim Johnson. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 3, 2003 at 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd, Mpls, MN. Services are under direction of the Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, MO.
