Donald J. Hilla

Donald J. ``Jack'' Hilla, age 71, of Burnsville. Our loving husband, brother, father and grandfather, passed away on December 24. He was preceded in death by parents, Caroline & John Hilla; 8 brothers and sisters, and grandson. Survived by wife of 50 years, Dorothy ``Dotty''; sister, Gerry Connolly and children, Sandy Swenson (Steve), Terry Hilla (Wendy), Joseph Hilla (Margie), Scott Hilla (Mary), Paul Hilla (Su), Patti Hilla and Mary Hilla. Also survived by grandchildren, Laura Swenson, Steven Swenson Jr., Suzie, Tom, Shawn, Rachel and Nicholas Hilla, Becky Anderson, Julie Johnson, Kristy Keough, Jamie Hilla, Aleah Toelcke, Kelly Wicks and Jacob Hilla; many nieces & nephews, and an infinite number of friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 11 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4625 W. 125th St., Savage, followed by interment at St. John's Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-7 pm, and one hour prior to the Mass on Friday at St. John the Baptist Church. Franciscan prayer service at 6 pm Thursday, closing with a rosary.
