Phillip Jerome Richter, age 81. Preceded in death by parents, Mary & Samuel Richter; grandson, Jason Saltzman; brothers, Harold and George, and sister, Florence Richter. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Shirley; daughters & sons-in-law, Suzanne & Stephen Saltzman, Barbara Jo Walters and Carol & Bob Mayeron; grandchildren, Joshua Saltzman, Melissa, Justin and Courtney Walters, Jennifer and Joshua Kaiser, and Molli Mayeron; sister, Evelyn Schwartz of CA; and many nieces & nephews. Mr. Richter was the owner of Richter Rexall Drug for 33 years and the Dania Hall, both in the Cedar-Riverside West Bank area of Minneapolis. He was the past president of Twin Cities Retail Druggist Assoc. Member of the City of Minneapolis Charter Commission, Lawyers Responsibility Board, B'nai B'rith. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Jewish War Veterans. Funeral services FRIDAY (TODAY), 1:30 PM, ADATH JESHURUN CONGREGATION, 10500 W. Hillside Lane, Minnetonka.
