Randall Ann Owen

Randall Ann Owen, age 81 of Mpls, formerly of Minnetonka died at home on Dec 24th. Preceded in death by her parents, Ira D. and Eva Coult Owen. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Dean; children, Ann (Tracy) Godfrey of Golden Valley, Dean Jr. (Cindy) of Colorado Springs, CO, Dave of Deephaven; 7 grandchildren; brother, David H. Owen. Ann was born August 12, 1921. She attended Carleton College. She graduated with honors from the University of MN in 1943 where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Ann was a member of the Junior League of Mpls, the Mayflower Society, and the Colonial Dames Society. She was a board member of Stevens Square Nursing Home, and Past President and Secretary of the Stevens Square Foundation. She was a Past Board Member and President of the Ripley Foundation. Ann served as a volunteer teacher in WISE, a program of the Mpls Public Schools. She worked as a volunteer at the Groveland Food Shelf. Ann was a longtime member of the Plymouth Congregational Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Member of the Minikahda Club. Memorial Service Monday, Dec. 30th, 2 PM at Plymouth Congregational Church, 1900 Nicollet Av S, Mpls. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Plymouth Church or donor's choice. Cremation Society of MN 612-825-2435
