John K. Pierson

Pierson John K., age 82, of Mora, MN, passed away 12/21 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital. He was a retired service technician with the U.S. Postal Service and a U.S. Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Gustav and Ingeborg Pierson and a brother, Herb Pierson. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Pierson; son and daughter-in-law, John L. and Maxine Pierson; 4 grandchildren, Anna (David) Claxton, Nathan Pierson, Kristina (Bob) Vandenberg, Mindy Pierson; 2 great-grandchildren, Sophia Claxton and Kiara Vandenberg; a sister, Bea Wheeler; 3 sisters-in-law, Martha Pierson, Jeannette Lorentzen, Edna Lorentzen; a brother-in-law, Harold ``Babe'' Lorentzen; dear nieces and nephews. Services 11 am, Thur., Dec. 27, 2001 at the chapel of the Augustana Home, 1007 E. 14th St., Mpls. Visitation 1 hr prior to service at the Augustana Home. Private family burial will take place at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Mora Dialysis Unit, 300 Clark St., Mora, MN 55051.
