Eleonora Conrad, age 88, of DeLand, FL, formerly of Mpls. She was the wife of Rev. Evald J. Conrad and a teacher of foreign languages in the Twin Cities area. Born Jamestown, NY, March 29, 1913, the daughter of the late Adolph & Axelia Carlson. Graduated from Jamestown High School in 1930 (National Honor Society), attended Augustana College of Rock Island, IL and received a Bachelor of Science with Distinction from University of Minnesota, 1958. She was also a Bible teacher and conference speaker, a Sunday school teacher, a camp dean and counselor, and choir director. She was preceded by her husband, Rev. Evald J. Conrad in 1978 and an infant son in childbirth, 1934; her sisters, Dorothy, Margaret, Linnea and brother, Adolph. Survived by daughters, Gloria (Robert Peterson) Aronson and Grace Stormoen, both of Bloomington, MN; sons, Jonathan (Vernette) of DeLand, FL, Daniel of Mpls and Timothy (Nedra) of St. Louis, MO; sisters, Ethel Mae and Elaine; 9 grandsons, 8 great-grandchildren. Memorial service Friday, 11 am, Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls, 5212 41st Ave S., Mpls. Visitation starting at 10 am. Interment Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Stockholm, MN, Friday, 3 pm. Memorials to World Mission Prayer League, Florida Lutheran Retirement Center, or donor's choice.
