Edna Laumeyer LeTendre passed away peacefully into the light on December 18, 2002 at age 82. We thank God for the gift of our Mother. We now give her back to Him with love, pride and respect, to rest in peace. We know the Lord waited as long as was best. We all feel blessed to have been touched by Mother's honest and straight-forward approach to life, her strength of character, sense of humor, belief in self-reliance and her generosity to her 11 children of whom she was so proud. Preceded in death by husbands, Edward Laumeyer of New Brighton, Richard LeTendre of Centerville and granddaughter, Debra Young Holmes. Survived by children, Gerald (Sherry), Daniel, Marlene (Rick) Nolan, Norma Hoffman, Sandra (Ray) Young, Joan (Ray) Doyle, Elaine (Roger) Young, Virginia (Lance) Nickerson, Constance (Dave Bach), Edward (JoAnn Bowman) and Thomas (Debra Meyer); 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
