Borghild Alice Berdahl

Berdahl Borghild Alice (Buddie), age 87, went home to her husband of over 55 years, Ernie Berdahl, on December 16, 2001. One of her last comments was about Ernie, ``Oh, he's good looking!'' Buddie had her full season here. She enjoyed many years as the secretary of Valley Community Presbyterian Church. Some of her favorite pastimes were sewing and writing lyrics for a number of songs performed by an unusual group of performers, her family. We, her children, Nancy Wheeler, Dave and Phil Berdahl; grandchildren, Cassie Berdahl and Dave and Jess Wheeler; great-grandchild, Christian Wheeler; sisters, Phyllis Mork and Inger Longren, and other family, rejoice in her reunion with her good-looking husband and with God in his house of many rooms. Of Buddie's many accomplishments here with the church and in service to the Lord, maybe her biggest is found in the words, ``She was a good mom.'' Good travels to you, Mother. We will see you again. Services will be held Friday, December 21, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 2901 Emerson Avenue North. They begin with a gathering of friends and family at 10 am, memorial service at 11 am, followed by a reception at the church. Interment later at Sunset Memorial Park. Special thanks to the staff at the St. Olaf Residence. Memorials are preferred to the St. Olaf Lutheran Church youth group. Cremation Society of MN 763-560-3100
