Klein James Linus, age 80, of Stillwater, died Dec. 17 at home with his family. Survived by Mary, wonderful wife of 53 years; children, Tom (Kip Palmer), John (Linda Vest), Peter (Shelagh Barry), Margaret (John Galland), Barbara (John Anderson), Mary Zoe (Ken Albright) and Anne (Tom Barney); 18 grandchildren lovingly called him Grandpa and Papa. Jim has 2 surviving brothers, Paul and Francis; and sister, Beattie. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 11 AM at ST. JUDE OF THE LAKE, 700 Mahtomedi Ave., Mahtomedi. Visitation Thursday, 6-8 PM at the church and 1 hour prior to the Mass Friday. Evening Prayers Thursday, 7 PM. Jim was born December 10, 1921 in Wausau, WI. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps serving as a heavy-bomber pilot in the South Pacific during WWII and received the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary flying over Hong Kong harbor. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, he joined the International Division of 3M Company in 1948, retiring from 3M in 1992. Jim volunteered at St. Jude Parish and School as Development Director and worked with the food shelf and community service program. Jim particulary enjoyed working with the Archibishop's Appeal each year. Please, no flowers.
