Katherine Hintzen

Hintzen Katherine ``Kitty'', age 84, of Apple Valley, formerly of Alexandria. Born 11-30-1917 in New York, died 12-17-2001 peacefully with her family. Survived by husband of 58 years, Carl; children, Peter, Kathleen (fiance Patrick Brannick), Michael (Sheila Haeg); grandchildren, Eric, Carl & Olivia. Kitty was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed many full and happy years. She and Carl owned and operated the Fireside Steakhouse in Alexandria until 1969. A full-time mom, great jokester and cardplayer, and dearly loved her grandchildren. Memorial service Fri. 11 AM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary Apple Valley Chapel, 147th & Garrett.
