Donald J. ``Don'' Cassidy age 66, of Champlin unexpectedly in Fort Myers, FL on December 16, 2001. Preceded in death by beloved wife, Jeaninne; parents, Art & Alice Cassidy. Survived by sons, Dick and Chris; daughters, Kelli (Steve) Friese and Kacie (Terry) Berglin; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Fran (Janie), Dick and Pat (Joan); sisters, Gerry D'Ambrosio and Trish (Chuck) Kyllonen; sister-in-law, Bonnie Yurch; and father-in-law, Frank Smith; brothers-in-law, Dwayne (Cathy) Smith & Roger (Karen) Smith. ``Uncle Duggie'' was always a favorite to all of his nieces and nephews. Don was a graduate from North High School in 1953. He was an All-State athlete in football, basketball, baseball and ski jumping. Don was a life long employee of the Minnesota Twins. Don's career began with the Twins in 1960. He was one of the three original employees. He was the Director of Sales, Marketing and Promotions. Some of his proudest moments were introducing Twins players and Twins facilities to the many children and friends of his family. Don enjoyed nothing more than his own children, his children's friends and families doing Twins commercials with Calvin Griffith. He gave his all to the Minnesota Twins. Don was a true ``Ace in the Hole'' when it came to golf. Don was a friend to many and many were a friend to Don. Mass of Christian Burial 1 pm, Saturday, at the Basilica of St Mary (Hennepin Ave and 17th St). Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery. Visitation TODAY, 5-8 pm, at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 7300 - 42nd Ave N, New Hope. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred. GILL BROTHERS 7300 Rockford Road 763-531-1777
