Walter W. Hartman

Walter W. Hartman of Eden Prairie on 12-15-01 one day after his 76th birthday. Survived by wife, Evelyn; children, David (Kathleen) Hartman, Marta (John) Patterson; grandchildren, Hannah, Lauren, Gabrielle, and Frank. Walt was a graduate of West High School, Veteran of both WWII and Korean Wars. Graduate of U of M, School of Mines. He worked as a GeoPhysicist 1952 - 1959, then as an Investment Salesman until 1985. After retiring, he returned to the U of M to study European History and taught several continuing education classes on German History. Much loved Husband, Father, and Grandfather who will be missed dearly. Memorial Service Wed., 12-19-01 (TODAY) at 4:00 PM, with visitation two hours prior at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave S., Edina (952-924-4100). Memorials preferred to area food shelves in lieu of flowers.
