Clarence Reier

Reier Clarence ``Mike'' Reier passed away 12/14/02 in Red Wing, MN. He was born in 1908 and preceded in death by his wife, Violet. Mike is survived by 2 sons, David (Sharon) and Michael (Margaret); 3 grandchildren, Randi, Danielle and Paul; and 3 step-grandchildren, Katherine, Kirstin and Michael. Moving to Red Wing in 1929, he became a valued and involved member of the Red Wing Community, serving on the board of the YMCA, Boy Scout Leader and working as a correctional counselor at the State Reformatory. He was named the ``Minnesota State Corrections Officer of the Year'' in 1970. Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice; the family will forward donations to the Alzheimer's Society in memory of the father and mother. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM Sat., Dec. 21st at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 320 West Ave, Red Wing, MN. Visitation with Family will be before and after service.
