June M. Scofield

June M. Scofield, age 77, of Robbinsdale, formerly Brooklyn Center, beloved mother of Richard, Johanna and Susan, died peacefully December 13 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, H. Alden Scofield. Survived by Richard & Joy of Panama City, FL, Johanna & Gary Schmidt, Susan Scofield & Jeff Rabkin; grandchildren, Tracy, Joseph, Adam, Leia, Carolyn, Shira; great-granddaughter, Lauren; sister, Marilyn Aikman of Davis, West Virginia; nieces, nephews and many loving friends. June was well known throughout the community for her involvment in civic, community and musical activities. For nearly 40 years, she organized and directed several choral groups including BC Harmonettes, BC Children's Chorus and N. Hennepin Senior Chorus. Through her music and community involvment, she touched many lives. We will miss her kindness, love and generosity. Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th and West Broadway.
