Kline Dr. Robert L. Kline, 62, of Fargo, North Dakota, died on December 12 of complications from lung cancer. Born in Minneapolis to Cora and Leonard Kline. Attended Macalester College, the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, and the Marquette University School of Dentistry. Fellow of the International College of Dentists, member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the North Dakota Dental Association, the Midwest Society of Periodontists, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minnesota Association of Periodontists. Dr. Kline was the first periodontist to practice in the state of North Dakota. Dr. Kline was a former president of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony. He is survived by his wife, Carole; his children, David (Christina) Kline, John (Penny) and Linda (James) Kline Lamar; his grandchildren, Hayden, William and Elias Kline; his brothers, Calvin (Marge) Kline, Russell (Bonnie) Kline, John C. Kline; and his sister, Sally (Jack) Helin. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 650 2nd Ave. N., Fargo on Monday, December 16 at 1:30 pm. Memorials may be sent to: Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, P.O.
