Gossler Clarence, age 98, died peacefully at Cambridge Hospital Dec. 12 surrounded by family. A lifelong resident of Mpls., he was preceded in death by his father, Doxy (Dave) Gossler; mother, Irene Franks Gossler; brothers, Frank and Vernon; sisters, Ethelyn, and Irene Spriestersbach. As his legacy, he leaves behind a large and loving family: his wife, Lois, of 65 years; son, Floyd C. Young (Ruth); daughters, June (Roger) Anderson, Patricia (Dennis) Young, Gail (Robert) Kishish, JoAnn Pierson, Laurie (Thomas) Malone; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-greats, and many nieces and nephews. Clarence was a long-time employee of NSP. He is fondly remembered by his grandchildren for their fishing expeditions to the trout farm and his behind-the-wheel driving lessons.
