Tanberg William B., age 81, of Mpls. Survived by wife, Pearl; children, Daniel Tanberg & wife Kay, Diana Lohmer & husband John; grandchildren, Ben & Nick Tanberg, Ana & Daniel Lohmer; stepdaughter, Leola Johnson & husband Robert; special nephews, Marty Knight and Eric Clay. Preceded in death by first wife, Margaret; sisters, Irene and Helen. William served in China, Burma and India during WWII. He enjoyed bowling, traveling and the lake. He was a member of VFW Post #217 and American Legion Post #310, and sang in the choirs at the Basilica of St. Mary and the Church of St. Austin. Funeral leaving 9:30 am Monday from Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th & West Broadway. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Monday at the Church of Our Lady of Victory, 51st & Fremont Ave N., Mpls. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation TONIGHT, 5-8 PM, with prayer service at 7 pm at Gearty-Delmore, Robbinsdale Chapel. Gearty-Delmore 763-537-4511
