David Beugen

Beugen David, age 70, of Palm Desert, CA, formerly of Mpls., died unexpectedly on Dec. 5, 2002. He attended West High School and the Univ. of MN. David was a real estate appraiser and an entrepreneur for over 45 years. Preceded in death by parents, Simon & Merriam Beugen, and sister, Betty Parker. He is survived by his wife, Susan Beugen; 4 daughters, Sally Peck, Sherri Horve, Suzy Bishop and Stacy Burkons; son, Andy Beugen; 5 grandchildren; and 8 pets. David was an eternal optimist who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. He will be so deeply missed by his family and many friends. Private services will be held at the family home in Palm Desert on Dec. 14. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Desert Pet Adoptions of Palm Desert or the Mpls. Jewish Federation.
