Young Evelyn M. Young St. Cloud, Minnesota Oct 27 1922 - Dec 1 2002 Evelyn was born to Walter C. and Ada (Dumas) Bergquist on October 27, 1922 in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Marshall H.S., Mpls and attended the U of MN. She was employed by the Minneapolis School System. Evelyn was a longtime resident of the Prospect Park neighborhood in Mpls. Since moving to St. Cloud, she was involved in the League of Women Voters, Friends of the Library and activities at Whitney Senior Center. Evelyn is survived by her children, William (Karen) Young, Sauk Rapids, MN; Susan (Virgil Van Batavia) Young, St. Anthony, MN; Peter (Kristen) Young, Van Nuys, Ca; grandchildren, Ryan & Jennifer Young, Van Nuys, CA; sister, Janice Chergosky, Mpls., MN; nephews, Steven Chergosky, Mpls., MN; Mark (Bev Hall) Chergosky, Little Canada, MN; great-nephews, Anthony & Michael Chergosky, Little Canada, MN. Evelyn was preceded in death by her brother, Stuart and her sister, Esther. Memorial services will be 12 NOON Thursday, December 5, 2002 at Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud, for Evelyn M. Young, 80, of St. Cloud, who died Sunday at her home in St. Cloud. Visitation will be at 11:30 AM. Memorials are preferred to Friends of the Library.
