Clara S. Haakonson

Haakonson Clara S., 91, went to her Lord Nov. 30. Married Reidar Haakonson in 1936. They served churchs in ND, ID, IL, IA and MN. Lived in Moorhead (32 yrs), Apple Valley (5 yrs) and Grand Rapids (9 yrs). Her beloved ministires: teaching Sunday School, Bible Study, nursing home visits, and letter writing. Survived by children, Elsie (Henry) Cook, Paul Haakonson, Lois (Gerald) Isvik of Lakeville, Marlys (Bud) Larsen, Judy (Paul) Rygh; sister, Sylvia Holmen of Edina; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson. Visitation 2-3 PM, with Funeral at 3 PM, Wed., Dec. 4, Grace Bible Chapel, Grand Rapids. Burial 3:00 PM Thursday at Evergreen Point Cemetery, Lakeville. Libbey F.H., Grand Rapids, 218-326-4000
