Brown Galen F., age 49, of Elk River, died on 11/29/01. Survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Kayla, age 19 at U of M Duluth, and Hayley, age 14 at home; mother, Gladys Brown of Big Lake; sister, LynnKay Brown & husband Michael Vuister of Saylorsburg, PA; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ralph & Rosie Rider of Anoka; and brother-in-law, Bryan (Ann) Rider of Zimmerman. Preceded in death by father, George P. ``Bud'' Brown. Funeral Monday, 11 AM at Nowthen Alliance Church, Hwy 5 and Co Rd 22, north of Anoka. Interment Big Lake Cemetery. Visitation Sun. from 5 to 8 PM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. Further visitation one hour prior to the funeral at church on Mon. Memorials preferred.
