Florence M. Hagstrom

Hagstrom Florence M., age 97, of Mpls, passed away peacefully in her sleep November 27, 2002. Preceded in death by her parents, Andrew & Hannah Hagstrom, & two sisters, Mae Kasel & Norma Silverness. Survived by nieces & nephews & their families: Karen (Ted) Darling, Patricia (Ed) Bohorquez, Richard (Marilyn) Silverness, Richard (Jane) Kasel, & Joe Kasel. Also survived by Billie Jo Seifert, her very special & wonderful caregiver, housekeeper, meal provider & best friend. Florence retired from Cargill, Inc., where she worked as a secretary in the executive offices. She enjoyed athletics as an equestrian champion rider, a competitive tournament golfer, and in recent years, a distance swimmer in YMCA aquatic programs. Other favorite activities included reading, knitting, gardening & personal investments. Funeral service Saturday, Dec. 7, 2 PM, with reviewal one hour prior to service at Crystal Lake Funeral Home, 38th & Penn Ave N., Mpls.
