Ingrid Elizabeth Magnuson

Magnuson Ingrid Elizabeth, passed away Nov. 19 at age 80 in Covina CA. She resided in Lougee Lake MN, and San Dimas CA. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Russell; son, Thomas of St. Paul; daughters, Sally Magnuson of Las Vegas, and Judy (Bob) Mohn of Maple Grove; grandchildren, John, Jill, Chelsea and Alexander; sister Myrtle Peterson and brother Donald Frisell. Ingrid graduated from the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing, and served in the Army Nurse Corp. in WWII. She retired from the Metropolitan Medical Center where she served as Volunteer Director and nurse. Ingrid was a long time member of the Gustavus Adolphus II Society Auxiliary. Those who knew her loved her, and she will be greatly missed. A service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5th, 2PM, at Golden Valley Lutheran Church; 5501 Glenwood Ave. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to service. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
