Stahlberg Eleanor Eloise, age 88. Was born June 13, 1914 to Ida & Emil Tell. Preceded in death by husband, Bernard and brother, Byron. She attended Oakwood Elementary and Columbia Heights High School. In 1936 she married ``her Benny''. They lived in the home her father had built. Eleanor attended First Lutheran Church where she was active in Ladies Aid, Grace Circle and Choir. She also enjoyed Bingo and Golden Age. To socialize with family and friends was valued always staying later to enjoy one more cup of coffee. To her family and friends she presents a legacy of love, philanthropy, humor and spiritual faith. She leaves behind beloved children, Judith Moneta and Allan Stahlberg; treasured grandchildren, Christopher Moneta and wife Tracey, Susan Madison and husband John; precious great-grandchildren, John, Marissa, Alisen, and Genevieve Eloise named after her great-grandmothers, and special friend, Lynn DeMarais. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the church. We said it so often you are tired of hearing it, but one more time as you step into eternity with your Lord, we love you now and forever. Funeral service 11am Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, 1555 40th Ave NE Columbia Heights. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
