Marguerite Dominica Schneider

Schneider Marguerite Dominica, 93, a resident of the St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center, died on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at the Rehabilitation Center. Marguerite was born in Indiana on April 24, 1909. She married Leo J. Schneider Sr. on Aug. 27, 1935 in Joliet, IL. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1994. Marguerite is survived by five sons, Henry (Kathy) Schneider of La Crosse, Paul W. (Kay) Schneider of Holmen, WI, Mark (Peg) Schneider of La Crosse, Rev. Leo J. Schneider, Pastor at Holy Name Parish, Mpls, and Lawrence Schneider of Long Beach, CA; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Leo, she was preceded in death by four brothers. Mass of Christian Burial Thurs., Nov. 14, 2002, 7 PM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Rev. Leo J. Schneider will serve as Celebrant. Private family committal services will be held Friday in the St. Francis of Assisi Mausoleum, Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Aquinas High School Endowment Trust Fund or the Diocese of La Crosse Priest Retirement Fund. The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse is in charge of arrangements.
