Sylvia J. Merboth

Merboth Sylvia J., age 69, of McGregor, MN, formerly of Minnetonka, had a massive stroke on October 31, 2002 and passed away peacefully November 10, 2002. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, John; sister, Linda (Robert) Clair of Belvedere, IL; daughters, Susan VanLith (Scott MacDougall) of Ventura, CA, Sandra (Roger) Williams of Chanhassen; son, Jeffrey (Andrea) Merboth of Chanhassen; and six grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley (Arnie) Fernstaedt of Bonita Springs, FL, and her parents, Floyd & Mayme Starr of Lena, IL. There will be a Celebration of Life memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2:00 PM at McGregor United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sylvia J. Merboth Memorial Fund to aid in the improvements of the McGregor Library.
