Corinne Sophia DeForest

DeForest Corinne Sophia, 98 years, 4 months, 28 days, of Golden Valley. Born June 11, 1904, Vaarland, Sweden. Family came to the United States in 1910 on the oceanliner Luistania. They settled in Nebraska before moving to Little Falls, MN. Corinne was united in marriage with Kenneth DeForest on April 5, 1928. Survived by son, Kenneth (Vivian); and daughter, Donna (Bruce) Brock; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Bergitt Quimby. Corinne was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, February 13, 1964; grandson, Daniel Mize; sister, Sonja Thelander; brother, Folke Olson. May she rest in peace. Corinne was known as the ``Dancer'' at Trevilla Care Center for her love of music and dance. Services Tuesday 1 PM, Washburn-McReavy, Edina Chapel, Vernon Ave. & 50th at Hwy 100.
