Desnick Nina (Hartman), passed away peacefully at Sholom Home East on November 3 at the age of 82 after a long illness. Preceded in death by brothers, Sam, John and Max Hartman; sisters, Fanny Krupp and Berniece Paper; sisters-in-law, Josephine Hartman and Betty Hartman. Survived by Baron, loving husband of over 60 years; daughter, Margie Desnick; son and daughter-in-law, Tony Desnick and Ulla Tervo Desnick; beloved grandchildren, Ellie and Sonja; sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Leonard Mayeron; sister, Marian Mayeron of San Diego; sisters-in-law, Ruth Hartman, Shirley Sigel, Rivian Goldberg and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nina was a graduate of Central High School in St. Paul and was a life member of Hadassah and Sholom Auxilliary. She will be remembered fondly as a loving wife, mother, sisters, grandmother, aunt and dear friend. She will be geatly missed by family and friends who enjoyed her delightful wit and talent for playing the piano by ear which gave her many hours of pleasure and helped her get through some challenging days. Nina enjoyed her years spent in Delray Beach, FL where she was a avid golfer, bridge and canasta player. Funeral service TUESDAY, 10 AM, TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 So. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Sholom Home East, the Jewish Community Center of St. Paul or donor's favorite charity.
