Waldahl Alton ``Al'' N., born April 5, 1926, Clarissa, MN. Died Oct. 30, 2002 at the Park View Care Center, in Buffalo, MN. Formerly a resident of Coon Rapids, MN. Al was a WWII Vet, life member of Sgt. John Rice, VFW post 6316 Blaine, Sons of the Vets instructor, former Scout Master of Troupe 415 Coon Rapids, MN Dept of Natural Resource Firearm Safety Instuctor for 30 yrs & a retired machinist. Preceded in death by wife, Deloris; parents; two half brothers; one half sister; infant granddaugther, Carrie Jo Waldahl; and Snoppy friend & companion for 15 yrs. Survived by daughter, Andrea (Bob) Pearson; son, Bruce (Cindy) Waldahl; grandchildren, Richard Neutz, SP 4 Nathaniel Waldahl and Regina Waldahl; stepgrandchildren, Rebecca (David) Hull, John (Christa) Pearson & Dave (Karen) Pearson; 4 step-great grandchildren; sister, Harriet (Lloyd) Sundblad; half sister, Romayne Grant & half brother, Lyle (Libby) Wolfgram. Memorial service Thurs Nov. 7, 10am at the Gearhart, Coon Rapids Chapel, 11275 Foley Blvd NW. Visition 1 hr prior to service. Luncheon following the service at the Sgt. John Rice VFW, 1374 109th Ave NE, Blaine. Private interment Ft Snelling National Cemetery.
