Bell James Hunt Bell A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis at 2 pm on Saturday, Nov. 2 for James Bell who died on October 11 at the age of 85. Mr. Bell was born on Dec. 7, 1916 in Minnesota and was a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul. He went to divinity school at Princeton Theological Seminary and was a graduate of Yale Divinity School. He married Edythe Farnham in 1941. After serving Presbyterian churches in Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin, Jim and his wife moved to Philadelphia where he worked for the Vocation agency of the Presbyterian Church. In the mid-1970s, they moved to Saginaw, Michigan where Jim served as the executive presbyter of Lake Huron Presbytery. After his retirement, he served several churches in an interim capacity and he and his wife traveled extensively. Edythe died in 1996. He is survived by a brother, Art of Wayzata; a sister, Mary Reynolds of San Diego; two daughters, Susan Miller of Portland, Oregon, Kristin Musselman of Peterson, Minnesota; a son, Bill of Rochester, Minnesota, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Remembrances to Westminster Presbyterian church, Macalester College or the charity of choice.
