Schawang Peter E., of St. Paul, well-known photographer, died suddenly on October 27, 2002. Survived by loving wife, Betty (Jo). Peter taught at Breck Academy until he was drafted and served his country which he loved, until the end of the war. He was a member of the Professional Photographers, University of Minnesota Alumni, Maplewood Moose Lodge and American Legion. When his father Peter, Sr. retired, Peter took over the Schawang Studio, specializing in school group pictures, large group pictures, portraits, celebrities and weddings. He is survived by wife, Betty (Jo), of 47 years; sister, Gladys Hedlund and large extended family. He was preceded in death by four premature babies, Susan, Sandy, Scott and Shawn and brother, Howard. Service Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 10:30 AM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street @ Magnolia, St. Paul.
