Margaret Estelle Keating

Keating Margaret Estelle, age 87, of Winsted, died Wednesday. She was born on August 22, 1915 in Osakis, the daughter of Lewis & Angeline Hines Nolan. Margaret graduated from Osakis High School in 1933 and later attended Minneapolis Business College. She was a seamstress for Jantzen Inc. in Portland, Oregon for twenty-five years. On March 1, 1986, Margaret Togstad & John Keating were joined in holy marriage at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Margaret was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. She also belonged to St. Anne's Society & Council of Catholic Women. Survived by her husband, John M. Keating; two stepchildren, Mary Ann Keating & Matthew ``Jack'' Keating, both of Minneapolis; a step-daughter-in-law, Jane (Robert) Bayerl of Winsted; three step-grandchildren, Joseph & Joshua Keating and Rachel (Patrick) Davidson; two brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her first husband, Rolf Togstad in 1982; a step-son, Patrick Keating; her parents, eleven brothers & sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning 9:30-10:30 AM.
