Farmer Mary Murray Farmer, age 97, passed away Oct. 23, 2002 at Excelsior Nursing Home. Preceded in death by husband, E. Weston Farmer, and son, David K. Farmer. Survived by sons, Wes & wife Marit, John & wife Meri, Gerald & wife Mary; sisters, Alice Stelzer, Ann Murray; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was born in Minneapolis, and was a resident of Deep- haven for many years prior to entering the nursing home in 1997. She had many friends, and during her lifetime gained a reputation as a great babysitter for her sons and their friends. She was known for her gracious hospitality to everyone at her summer northwoods cabin, ``Coffeepot Landing'', at Rock Harbor, Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior. Interment Isle Royale, MN.
