Koernig Marlys Patricia., age 78, of Mpls., passed away Oct. 22, 2002. Survived by husband of 60 years, Paul; son, David (Genelle) Koernig; daughter, Dawn Kohout; grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott) Nelson, Laura (Michael) Morris, Scott Koernig, Kevin Koernig, Matthew Kohout and Erin Kohout; great-granddaughters, Rosilynn, Madeline and Lindsey; sisters, Rosalie (Gerald) VoPava and Lois Digatono; brothers, Bernard and Roger Dougherty; nieces, nephews, beloved relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11 AM, St. Lawrence Catholic Church & Newman Center, 1201 5th St SE. Visitation Friday 4-8 PM, with prayer service at 7 PM, Washburn-McReavy Southeast Chapel, 200 Central Ave SE, and one hour prior at church. Memorials to American Cancer Society or donor's choice.
