Benoit Gerald Edward. Born Jan. 2, 1930, Kankakee, IL, has gone to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by infant son, 3 brothers, and wife, Ellen. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten by his beloved wife, Shirley; sons, Michael (Shari), Douglas (Rachel), Kurt, and daughter, Susan Ryberg; grandchildren, Dustin (Summer) Benoit, Michaela and Cassandra Benoit; stepchildren, Cindy (Randy) Schess, David Juntunen, Brian (Gale) Juntunen, Susan (Larry) Spike; step-grandchildren, Tabitha and Theresa. Service Fri., 11 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 4240 Gettysburg Ave N., New Hope.
