McHale Josiah A. Jr. ``Jay'', born August 22, 1958 in Racine, WI. He graduated from St. Catherine's High School of Racine. He graduated from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, and has lived in the St. Paul and Minneapolis areas ever since. He was employed in various capacities in and around the local music industry, in addition to having been an accomplished musician and songwriter. He was last employed by the Cedar Cultural Center, Minneapolis, MN, where he served as the Volunteer Coordinator. He was preceded in death by two infant brothers and by his parents, Josiah A. McHale and Eileen (Hanlon) McHale. He is survived by two brothers, Kevin (Karen) McHale of Green Lake, WI and Mark McHale of Racine, WI and special friend Colette Dickson of Racine, WI; and one sister Meg (Bruce) Schwemmer of Ripon, WI, two nieces and five nephews. He will be remembered by fans, colleagues, family and close friends too numerous to mention. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday at ASCENSION CATHOLIC CHURCH (1723 Bryant Ave. North, Minneapolis). Visitation 6-8 PM Monday at O'HALLORAN AND MURPHY FUNERAL HOME (575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul) 651-698-0796 and also from 9:30 AM until time of service at the church on Tuesday. Private interment. Memorials preferred to the Cedar Cultural Center, 416 Cedar Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55454
