Margaret Antoinette (Peggy) Svare

Svare Margaret (Peggy) Antoinette. Born 3/2/47 (nee Gardner) in Wayzata, MN, died 10/12/02 after a courageous 2-year battle against a malignant brain tumor. Preceded in death by her father, James Lester Gardner. Peggy is survived by her husband of 21 years, Robert Svare; sons, Matt Coller, George Coller, Jamie Coller and Ryan Coller; stepsons, Mark Svare and James Svare; granddaughters, Isobel Coller, Jill Svare, Carol Svare and Roberta Svare; mother, Ann Marie Gardner (nee VonDrasek); sisters, Therese Lebens, Marie Sheperd and brother, Charles Gardner. Peggy graduated 1965, Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Mankato. Peggy was also a graduate of the Patricia Stevens Modeling School with a degree in fashion merchandising and held bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration from the Universities of Minnesota and St. Cloud. She was also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner working as the chief financial officer for Simonson Ventures & Svare Professional Engineering in Isanti, where she lived. Peggy will be sorely missed by all. Besides business, Peggy enjoyed traveling, gardening and heirloom quality sewing. She died as she lived, with grace, strength and quiet dignity. Private home funeral services were held through Strike Funeral Chapel, Isanti.
