Thomas Frederick Soderberg

Soderberg Thomas Frederick Soderberg of Racine, WI, formerly of St. Paul, died suddenly Oct. 16 of a heart attack while running. He was 61. He is survived by his wife, Alona; sons, William Stephen (Buddy), 18, Daniel Timothy, 15, Thomas F. Jr. & wife Lori, Alexander (Alex); a daughter, Angel; his sister, Gloria S. Anderson & husband Kim. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick A., founder of Soderberg Optical Company, Inc., St. Paul, and his mother, Virginia (Ginny). He graduated from St. Paul Academy and the University of Minnesota. Currently he was the manager of the Milwaukee branch of Soderberg Optical. He had been working at Soderberg Optical for over forty years. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A service is planned in Racine, WI, Saturday, PM at the Purath-Strand Funeral Home. The date of a memorial in St. Paul will be announced later.
