Zackrey Peterson

Peterson Zackrey ``Zack'' Peterson, age 15, 6 year resident of Brainerd, 9 year resident of Princeton, died Sunday, October 13, 2002. He was born in Milaca, Minnesota to James and Theresa (Ward) Petrson on December 24, 1986. He liked reading, playing football, hanging with his friends, video games and skate boarding. Zack was murdered while doing what he did best - being a big brother and protector for everyone. He died for what he believed in, a true American in every sense of the word. Survived by mother, Theresa Jean Peterson; father, James Joel Peterson; sister, Sara Jean Peterson; brother, Lukas Clifford Peterson; grandparents, Phillip Q. and Grace C. Ward; Clifford C. Peterson; many cousins, aunts, uncles and special friends. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Marlys Peterson. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 18, 2002 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church with Father Bill Skarich officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Thursday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd, there will be a prayer service at 7:00 PM and one hour prior to services at Church on Friday.
