Gaddis Gene Thomas, age 93, of Edina, died on October 7, 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Doris, by 5 months. Gene was a graduate of Iowa State University, Ames, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in MN and employed by Honeywell for 25 years. Later he was self-employed as a Heating and Ventilating Specialist. He is survived by his daughters, Sheryl (Richard) Lindholm, Hudson, WI and Vicki (Tom) Engel, St. Croix Falls; four grandchildren, Timothy and Stephen Lindholm and Kacia and Keeli Engel, and two great-grandchildren, Jari and Soren and a brother, Norris Gaddis, Portland, OR. A Memorial Service will be at Lake Harriet Christian Church, 50th and Beard Av. S., Mpls (612-926-2592), Thursday, October 24 at 11 am. Burial in Waterloo, Iowa. Memorials to his church preferred.
