Sally A. Matheson

Matheson Sally A., age 81, of Parkers Prairie, MN, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at Brainerd Hospital. She was born March 8, 1921 in Murray County, MN to Oliver & Esther Johnson. She married Cecil Matheson of Milford, IA in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1992. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, choir and Lady's Missionary meetings. Survivors include 2 sons, Del C. Matheson of Backus, MN and David L. Matheson of Parkers Prairie, MN & his wife Linda; 2 brothers, Minnerd Johnson of Milwaukee, WI and Wallace Johnson of CA; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Roy & Gordon Johnson, and Cletus who died in infancy; and 1 grandson. Memorial service to be held at Calvary Memorial Church in Navarre, MN at 1:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002. Interment is at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Mpls., MN.
