Janis H. Blades

Blades Janis H., age 66 of Coon Rapids, passed away October 11, 2002. Preceded in death by parents, Lyle & Velma Meadows; and sister, Naomi June Meadows. Survived by 2 daughters, Ann (Kevin) Hanson, and Sue (Tom) Brady; son, Greg (Holly) Hollander; 7 grandchildren, Erick and Cailin Hollander, Coral, Lydia, and Isaiah Hanson, Jenna and Ethan Brady; 2 brothers, Gene Meadows, and Bruce Meadows; sister, Marilyn Coffman; other relatives and friends. Janis was an elementary school teacher for 27 years. Funeral service 6 pm Monday, October 14, 2002 at Faith Lutheran Church, 11115 Hanson Blvd, Coon Rapids. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at 2:30 pm at Ottumwa Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA. Memorials to Hospice of the Lakes.
